My name is Nonie Sables:
I am a Pastor-Teacher, a writer, a newly published author, a coffee drinker, and I love books.
My full name is Nonito Orbista Sables, but I am more known as (Pastor)Nonie. I was born and raised in Manila Philippines. I became a believer of the Lord Jesus Christ in 1984, during my first year in College. I studied Civil Engineering at University of the East and graduated in 1989.
I met my wife, Emmy (Go), at University Baptist Church, Manila, our home church, and we got married in October 1998. Our first Child is Kymberlee. I decided to obey Gods’ call in the full-time ministry at the very beginning of 1999. We spent the next three years at Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary for ministry preparation and earned Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies degree. We came back to University Baptist Church, Manila after my seminary studies in 2003 and serve the Lord there as an Outreach Pastor. Year 2006, our second child was born, and his name is Kean-Dwight. In 2007 we migrated to the United States, in Jacksonville Florida and served a Filipino-International Congregation for almost ten years.
Currently, I am serving as the pastor/planter of Grace International Christian Fellowship, a small church I started with God’s help and leading in July 2017 and I am looking forward to serve the Lord here purely by His grace!
